Return to Glory: Rolling Rally Turns the Streets of Boston Celtic Green

For some moments, you have to be there, and Celtics fans certainly weren't going to miss this one.  And after a 22-year drought, they finally got theirs.  It was a championship parade (in warm weather for once), a rolling rally as a result of winning banner number 17.

As the duck boats carrying the players made their way through downtown Boston, tens of thousands of fans, including those from Southern New England, made sure they were close enough to see.

ABC 6 reporter Coleen Harry was in Boston for the celebration...

Words can not describe what this Celtic win means to me! I grew up in Boston and even though I now live in NC I still love the Celtics. (I am 75 years old) and the long years of despair are over! Thank you Celtics, the legend lives again! Beating L.A. is especially sweet, there really is a God! What great basketball! Thank you, old point guard Danny Ainge! Thank you, hard working Doc Rivers! Legends both. The team was wonderful, what heart! Worthy heirs to Larry, Kevin and the Chief! XXXXXXXXXXX
