Lincoln's Visit to RI; A Sprague Celebration. Enjoy an afternoon of discussion and music. Visit Gov. Sprague Mansion at 1351 Cranston St. in Cranston and enjoy piano selections on the 1800s Steinway by 13yr. old pianist, Mackenzie Melemed, include "Gov. Sprague March". Sprague descendants will cut a cake honoring Sprague birthday with his Civil War sword! $12.00 donation. Light refreshments. Endorsed by the RI Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission, chair Hon. Frank J. Williams. Cosponsored by the RI Military Order of the Loyal Legion of the US and Elisha Dyer Camp 7,SUVCW. This is their 3rd Lincoln Bicentennial event of the year for the 2009 Lincoln Bicentennial. Please also bring adult socks for their annual holiday charitable drive. Thank you.
