Rhode Island Kitchen & Bath Showroom, 139 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick, (401)
463-1550, is welcoming the fall season with an Oktoberfest Celebration on
Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., rain or shine. The
event is free and features an authentic German cooking demonstration and
tasting by Chef Dan Osella of Jacob Wirth Restaurant in Boston, as well as samples of
Riesling and Gewurztraminer wines, Paullner, Spaten and Hacker-Pschorr
imported beers, and Lefthand and Newport Storm domestic beers with Wine
Consultant Marc Guillotte of People’s Liquor Warehouse. Bavarian polka lessons
and a coloring contest for children will be offered. Guests are invited to
bring a pre-decorated pumpkin for a chance to win prizes. Visit
