2ND ANNUAL “A HARVEST NIGHT OUT” FUNDRAISER
Proceeds will benefit Camp Erin, a children and teens grief support camp
Fall River, MA – October 30, 2009 — The Visiting Nurse Association of Southeastern Massachusetts, Inc.’s (VNASM) is presenting the 2nd Annual “A Harvest Night Out” fundraising event on Friday, November 6, 2009 from 8:00 pm to midnight at the Hawthorne Country Club in Dartmouth, MA. The adult only event is being held to support Camp Erin. Camp Erin is a grief support camp for children between the ages of 6 and 17 who are grieving the loss of someone close to them. The camp is facilitated by staff and volunteers of Hospice & Palliative Care, a program of the VNA. It is held annually each June for up to 50 children at no cost.
“A Harvest Night Out” will feature The Goat Roper Band, a local contemporary country band who is donating the entertainment. The Hawthorne Country Club, located at 970 Tucker Road in Dartmouth, MA is also generously donating the function hall and refreshments. Guests will enjoy live music, dancing, light refreshments, and a silent auction featuring donations from local businesses and individuals.
Reserved tables for ten are available for $175.00. Individual tickets are $20 per person or $35.00 per couple and can be purchased at all three VNASM locations including 502 Bedford Street in Fall River, 244 North Main Street in Raynham and 115 East Main Road in Little Compton. Tickets may also be purchased by calling 774-627-1955. Silent auction donations are also being accepted.
