Greetings!

On December 3, 2009, the Latino Policy Institute at Roger Williams University will host a reception and book presentation about Dominicans' experiences in Rhode Island and their contributions to the state. Prof. Jose Itzigsohn of Brown University will present his award-winning book, Encountering American Faultines: Race, Class, and the Dominican Experience in Providence. After the book presentation, there will be a response from panelists and a Q&A session.

Along with the book presentation, the event will mark the opening of the "Dominicans in New York" exhibit at Roger Williams University.
