Warwick, RI (November 9, 2009) – Colleen Townsend Pilát, local jewelry designer, will be displaying and selling her jewelry at Deer Brook Estates, Rhode Island’s first Women-Centric neighborhood in Exeter. During this exclusive Holiday Jewelry Preview Sale, Pilát’s jewelry will be available for purchase.

Pilát, a Portsmouth resident, creates her unique pieces using a variety of natural elements, including sea glass, Swarovski crystals, sterling silver and fresh-water pearls. It was after Rhode Island actor James Woods discovered her work two years ago that Pilát’s jewelry-making grew exponentially. http://www.townsendjewelry.com/press.html

In addition to Ashley Bickford, former Miss Rhode Island 2007, modeling the jewelry, Hugh D. Auchincloss III, brother of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, will also be joining the Jewelry Event at Deer Brook Estates. James Woods, Rhode-Island’s own award-winning actor, director, and producer, is also scheduled to make an appearance. Attendees will also enjoy food by Rhode Island Culinarian Joseph DiPietro.
