MA Primary Registration Deadline Today

AP

BOSTON (AP) - Today is the registration deadline for voters interested in casting ballots in the February 5th presidential primary.

State election officials are putting on a big push to make sure everyone who wants to vote is registered. There will be voter registration tables at North and South Stations in Boston during rush hour today.

The state moved up the primary to February to be among nearly two dozen states that cast ballots then.

Today is also the last day for registered voters to change their party affiliation for the closely contested Democratic and Republican primaries.

Voters will be able to register at city and town hall offices across the state until 8 p.m.
