Vote '08 UPDATE: District 9 Recount in the Works?

Tuesday's Rhode Island primary may have yielded a potential upset.  Although no winner has been declared, it looks like Democratic incumbent Senator Stephen Alves of West Warwick may have lost his bid for a 9th term to newcomer Michael Pinga.  It is reported that Pinga leads Alves by only 17 votes!  But there is now a recount in the works.
