Given this man's history, I doubt if the Board of Elections will deny his request. For a man who said he was planning to retire and he just owed a recount to his supporters, he seems to be going to extraordinary lengths to retain his seat. Alves has too much at stake. Alves will appeal the decision if it goes against him. It’s not about being a senator, it’s about being able to threaten and intimidate via the RI budget. Alves lacks ethics and integrity. This only confrims it.

As predicted Alves has now filed an appeal with the RI Supteme Court. Does anyone still believ it's jsut to have some questions answered? It’s about being able to threaten and intimidate via the RI budget. Alves lacks ethics and integrity.

My name is Elisha . I live in the town of Johnston along with a majority of other concerned family members, friends etc. located in other areas of RI. Who are as i am registered voters and we are more directly writhing in regards to this Senate bill 3014, bill 7495. This bill was recently vetoed and i have a hard time understanding why. RI is the only state who can violate your parole or probation before even if your found not guilty. Save taxe payers money. Dont keep inosent people in jail.
