East Providence Police have a person of interest who they think is responsible for throwing two Molotov cocktails at the East Providence Fire Department and a nearby church back in April.
     And officials say that the person involved was in a serious accident just minutes after the firebombs were thrown.
     The first Molotov cocktail was thrown at the fire station side door on Greenwood Avenue a little before 11 that night. 
     There were 5 firefighters who were in a room next door, none of them were hurt.
     The second firebomb was thrown a few minutes later at the Newman Congregational Church on Newman Avenue.
     That one landed on the walkway leading up to the church. 
     But just minutes later, the suspect violently crashed his car.
