Newport Woman Accused of Scamming Locals

     A Newport woman, posing as an investment trader, is now accused of pocketing more than 7 million dollars of her investor's money.
     62-year-old Elizabeth Baldwin acted as an investment trader, but she was the only one getting a return.
     Investors would wire their money to Baldwin's personal accounts at Citizens Bank and People's Credit Union in Newport, but police say Baldwin would pocket most of it.
     Officials say she also took lavish, exotic vacations and used investors' money to pay her college tuition.
     About a dozen of those victims from Rhode Island.

I feel for her family who are innocent in this as well as those she ripped off. i hope something good comes out of this.
