Coast Guard Rescues Stranded Surfer

With the winds being as strong as they were on Tuesday, surfers were out in force at local beaches. One surfer, however, got more than she bargained for after being dragged out by the current, almost 3 miles from shore. Thankfully, her friend thought quickly and rushed to get help.

ABC 6 News Reporter Jeremy Tung spoke with the surfer, who is taking the whole experience very well.

Oh yeah it's all fun now I'll bet she was happy to see the U.S.Coast Guard save her butt. And with all those giggles not one "Thank You" to the people that saved her from a life threatening situation. So from me Thank You Coasties for doing your job.
