Narragansett should be re-named East Kingstown. Or Cranston South. Tops on the list of new names for this town shall be "No-You-Cant-Sett".

Just to remind everyone the "guests" or "friends" that were in the bar with George are EMPLOYEES!!!!

This is absurd. The door was locked, which means that the bar was essentially closed. He was probably just hanging out with a couple of friends after closing up. Big deal. Apparently the police of that town are bored and just looking for something to do. And why is ABC6 reporting on this? Who cares? Its a bar owner and a couple of friends hanging out after closing. Get a life people!

The police had too much time on their hands, George had too much work on his hands and the "guests" did not have much too lose. Give Pancho's & George a break. This is not a story but a tale to re-tell at the pub over and over...As for Teresa L. why don't you go to Wakefield or north of the towers instead!

So the police won't charge this man but they arrested a man named Warwell for calling them about a loud URI party. If you have power in Gansett you can get away with anything.

Pancho's is getting some great free advertising...keep it up. Paris Hilton will even tell you 'there's no such thing as bad publicity'!

Does George Lenihan think the residents he presides over are foolish enough to believe his behaviour is acceptable? RESIGN FROM THE COUNCIL GEORGE! You no longer deserve to serve.

"Oh what a tangled web we weave when at first we practice to decieve" ...... with that said let's take a deep breathe here. He made a mistake and he apologized ..... time to move on. By all acounts he has served the town well and is active in many charitable causes. Let's not beat everyone who stubs there toe like a pinata.

I live in new york city, if three people were shot in this bar it would not make the news. You should be reporting on things a little more important like $4.00 gas and soldiers dieing in Iraq. get your priorities straight. Also it seems like the cops in this town have a little to much time on their hands maybe it's time for a winter lay off!

come on, there was'nt 100 people inside there was 3. His mistake was not opening the door for the police.

I commend the actions of the Narragansett Sgt. The Narragansett PD should be proud to have someone like that working for them, because he was not afraid to stand up to Mr. Lenihan. Mr. Lenihan is not above the law. However, the Town of Narragansett should be disappointed in the actions of their cowardly town council member who ran and hid. Mr. Lenihan does not sound like someone who would stand up for the residents of its town. Again great job Sgt.
