I have a few thoughts: To Frances: Why do you assume that the criminal is going to get the better of someone already intelligent enough to protect themselves? What if you get attacked and you don't have a taser? Then you definitely LOSE. For the Trooper: Be aware of your surroundings and be careful? Laughable. The only way to control your surroundings is to never leave the house. Hardly the logical step for personal safety. Criminals DO NOT respect your right to be safe, anywhere!
