Miley Cyrus Strikes Back Regarding Accusations of Song-Stealing

     Scandal seems to follow her around everywhere lately, but now teen sensation Miley Cyrus is hitting back at accusations she ripped off another band's song.
     We told you last week that Los Angeles based band "Lustra" claims Cyrus' song "Rockstar" is a carbon copy of their "Scotty Doesn't Know" tune.
     The band was alerted to the apparent similarities by fans, and has since determined the tunes are virtually the same.
     But now a spokesperson for the 'Hannah Montana' star insists, she doesn't write any of her music...she just sings the songs.
     So they will now refer the incident to parent company, Disney.

Lustra is an awesome band and Hannah Montana is a no talent teen pop fad. If you listen to the two songs from beginning to end they are exactly the same. If Hannah wants other people to write her music and be a fake musician she should take responsibility when Disney rips off poor bands touring their hearts out trying to make it. -Ronald A. The two songs don't sound the same to me. There are some similarities, but the songs are very different. I think if you searched a little you'd also find other songs that sound similar even though they're completely different. I don't believe Miley OR Disney stole anything. It's just one of those things. And the band needs to get over it. This is nothing - or else, why did they wait til now to bring it up? It's obvious they're doing this just for the publicity. And that's just wrong.

'Rockstar' the apparent 'stolen' song is a Hannah Montana song. Miley doesn't write for Hannah, she writes for Miley. People need to give her a break. If that song sounds anything like that other band's song then it's not her fault, look to Disney for that. After all, they wrote it. You know, what also strikes me as odd is that the band has waited this long to bring their so called accusations to light; that CD has been out almost a year now. Sounds like just a way to get media attention.
