16-year old Devon Hodo was murdered and 5 others were stabbed early Sunday morning.
Hodo was a student at Taunton High School.
Taunton police say this vicious act is gang related, and Taunton High parents are so scared they don't want their kids out of their sight.
Police say it all started at a Sweet 16 party that got out of control.
A massive fight broke out at the VFW hall in Dighton.
That fight spilled over into Taunton around 1 am Sunday morning near Memorial State Park in the Weir section of Taunton.
Friends rushed the 6 victims who were stabbed to Morton Hospital.
Devon Hodo didn't make it, he died at the hospital.
Investigators say Hodo died feet away from his own doorstep.
Officials are now saying that this wasn't the victim's first run-in with violence, having been shot in the leg back in February.
His brother, Jason Hodo witnessed the entire fight, but he isn't saying anything.
He is scared someone might retaliate against him.
Now Taunton police are on high alert, saying Jason Hodo could cooperate, but refuses to.

Thats not even the right story, if your gonna write a story, get the right one. Devon was a good friend of mine. He didn't deserve any of this, and neither did his family. Leave Jason alone, if he doesn't wanna talk about it, then let him be. Obviously you guys don't realize that hes hurting so much more than yous could imagine. there was no fight at the Qunceanera, not a "sweet sixteen". Jason and Devon were never even at that party! People should get their facts straight before printing or putting half a story on the televised news. Why are the police procecuting the victim. Where is the mention of these other boys who came all the way from Brockton to mess up a celebration, then drive around Taunton all night looking for trouble? Why is the media not harassing their families instead of Devon's?

Out of respect for his brother and family he should tell the police everything he knows. Whoever is responsible whould pay legally cause now we are just going to have more violence when they retaliate.
