UPDATE: Family Believes Body Found in Wallum Lake is Missing Smithfield Man

Timothy Martin

The family of Brian Silva tells ABC 6 news that a dive team found his body in Wallum Lake, in Douglas Massachusetts.

The early stages of the search turned up Silva's truck, keys, and cell phone, but police were unable to find the man they were in search of.

Douglas Police are confirming that a body was found in Wallum Lake, in about 28 feet of water, but have yet to comment on the identity of that victim.

The body has been taken to a medical examiner's office in Boston, and is under review.

ABC 6 will bring you the latest news as it is made available.
