What's Missing From One Local Parade?

One local parade had a little hiccup, if you will, with most not even realizing something was missing.

Every year since 1926 the town of Chepachet has a not-so-ordinary tradition called the Ancients and Horribles Parade. The parade deals with issues of politics , taxes, who's hot, and who's not, and the people love it.

This year, however, the parade was missing a key component and money may be to blame.
