Senator Ted Kennedy Makes Surprise Return to Senate

Since mid-May of this year, the Kennedy family has been rocked by the diagnosis of a malignant tumor in Senator Ted Kennedy's brain. Since the news broke, there have been showings of support, media coverage of every step Kennedy took, and concern about his personal, was well as political, future.

Colleagues and family referred to Kennedy as a 'fighter', someone who sets a goal and sticks to it. The Senator had always maintained a desire to get back to work.

ABC 6 News Reporter Jeremy Tung has more on the Senator's return to work.
