Man Drowns in Woonsocket After Several People Make Rescue Attempt

ABC6 News

Caution tape and no swimming signs now surround Veteran's Memorial Park in Woonsocket after a man drowned there Saturday afternoon.

Sources tell ABC 6 that the man has been identified as Sidney Jones of Providence RI.

Witnesses tell ABC 6 that several people helped pull Jones from the water, and then tried to revive him on a dock, but it was too late.
