Firefighter Revives Cat Using Oxygen Mask After Family Escapes Burning Woonsocket Home

Bryan Monaghan

A Woonsocket home was destroyed by fire on Thursday evening, and the family made it out safely. While the cause is being investigated, and those involved are received assistance from the Red Cross, they are mourning the loss of some of their pets.

ABC 6 News Reporter Jeremy Tung was on the scene of the fire, including capturing some amazing footage of the family's reaction to seeing one of their beloved pets be saved by emergency personnel.

It is really touching that firefighters treated this cat´s life as they would have done with human life. The day all people starts to treat animals as beings, just like this man did, my faith in this world will be restored.
