Charlestown Council President Convicted of Simple Assault on Cameraman

A guilty verdict has been handed down in the simple assault trial of Charlestown's acting town council president.

James Mageau  was caught on video shoving a camera during a town council meeting back in July.  Mageau claimed he acted in self-defense.

Monday the judge ordered him to go to anger management classes and pay court fees.
