Police: Man tries to Pay for McDonald's Meal with Pot

AP

VERO BEACH, Fla. (AP) - It's green, alright. But it's not cash, nor is it good for a burger. A McDonald's worker in Vero Beach, Florida, called 911 to report a customer was trying to pay for his meal with pot.

Deputies say the drive-through cashier provided a description of the car.  Indian River County deputies found the car and report finding pot in it, too.

Shawn Pannullo is accused of being the driver with the munchies. He's charged with possession of cannabis and posted $500 bail. A Sheriff's report doesn't say what the suspect ordered at McDonald's or if he managed to buy his unhappy meal with something other than pot.
