West Bridgewater Crash Closes Highway, Kills 1

An early-morning rollover on Rt 24 in West Bridgewater killed one woman and seriously injured another, according to the Massachusetts State Police.

Troopers say that the Ford Explorer they were riding in lost control and flipped in the area of Exit 16. Neither was wearing a seatbelt and they were both thrown from the truck, killing one and seriously injuring the other.

The wreck closed the highway for about two hours and the State Police are continuing their investigation.
