CT Woman Killed in Glocester Accident

ABC6 News

A Connecticut woman is dead following a three-car accident that injured two other people in Glocester Saturday night.

Glocester Police say that 25 year-old Anthony Muller of Hampton, Connecticut was driving west on Route 44 at a very high speed when he crossed over into oncoming traffic, sideswiped a car driven by 32 year-old Mario Damico of Cranston, and hit a third car head-on.  The driver of that car, 70 year-old Eileen Kozlowski of North Grosvenordale, CT, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mr. Damico was not hurt.  Muller and his passenger, 27 year-old Ryan Dexter of Dayville, CT, were both taken to RI Hospital.

Police report that Muller was involved in a hit-and-run in North Smithfield shortly before this accident.  Muller was charged with DUI, death resulting, Driving to Endanger, death resulting, and DUI resulting in serious bodily injury.  He remains in the hospital but is being held on $100,000 cash bail pending his next court date, which depends on the date of his release from the hospital.
