2 of my children are scheduled to get the H1N1 vaccine at school tomorrow but my daughter started running a fever tonight. I am thinking she will not be able to get the vaccine tomorrow. We live in a tritown district and another school in the district is distributing the vaccine on Nov 30th. Because there has already been a vaccine set aside for her can she go to the other school within the district and get it there. I would rather not wait until December or January.

My 8 year old son had Guillain Barre syndrone 2 years ago. He hasn't received any flu shots since 2006, should he receive the H1N1 vaccine or the seasonal flu vaccine?

Swine flu vaccines are being given through Dec or later in pediatrician offices. My thoughts are that the seasonal vaccine has always taken a few weeks to be effective. Is the swine flu vaccine the same and if so why didn't we start getting children innoculated before flu season started?

My 6 month old daughter received most of the vaccines she should have at her dr's visit more than a week ago including Pentacel and her third shot of Pneumococcal Conjugate and third dose for the Rotavirus as well as getting her seasonal flu and H1N1 vaccines.. She's been throwing up and has had runny stools as many as 7 times a day. I'm getting few answers from her doctor who doesn't seem to feel this is an issue. Could the 2 flu vaccines have been too much for her body to handle at 1 time?

I have a 7 month old baby and I'm really not sure that I want him to get the swine flu vaccination when it's available. It's new and they really don't know enough about how safe it is, it scares me. As it is, all vaccinations make me nervous, I do think they are important though. We chose to space them out and follow Dr. Sear's schedule. Should we be worried about how safe this vaccination is? Is there really enough research done on it?
