Friday night, pop singer Rihanna talked exclusively with ABC's 20/20 about the abuse she suffered at the hands of former boyfriend Chris Brown.  ABC6 Reporter Julie Ruditzky watched that interview with several local experts who offered their insight on Rihanna's story.

The events that happened between Rihanna and Chris was horrific, to say the least. I must speak to domestic violence that is happening to my 19 year old SON at the hands of his girlfriend both verbal and physical. Could we please look at both sides of the issue. Men are seen as whimps but my son was raised not to hit women and I really can't understand why he subjects himself to this type of relationship. No one should provoke another person or hit them like Chris and Rih, or Pam and Tom Lee
