Good government policy vs. Bad government policy. Should be the debate, not whether it is morally harmful to the individual smoking the stuff. I work at a convenience store the amount of paraphrenelia the store sells to a staggering amount of individuals is mind boggling. The

personally I think the local govenments should legalize and distribute marijuana themselves. apply the same laws and restrictions you do to alcohol. plus the money would be going to benefit our economy. to hell with the foreign supply. I think right now the worst drug is alcohol. marijuana has none of long lasting and potentially life threatening or damaging effects of alcohol. just legalize it and impose a state tax on the product. then use the profits to combat more harmful narcotics.

Let's hear from the stoners who rant about how much money we would save if their weed was legalized. You never hear them say that we could save a lot more money if people stopped smoking so much dope. Americans are 6% of the world's population but consume 80% of the drugs. Let's blame the legal system.

It must suck to be a pothead and have to spend lots of money to stay stoned and avoid feeling the emptiness of your life. Ever hear of a pothead that stopped smoking to clear his/her head? Me neither.

Short-sighted views: people overlook the incredible and unspeakable actions that serve as the basis of marijuana trafficking. Bad, bad stuff comes along with your local weed supply.

Try considering the ruthless and violent Mexican cartels these guys are enabling, who are killing everyone in sight in the Mexican border towns, including cops, politicians, and witnesses. This goes much deeper than you and your buddies pulling bong hits. Take a look at what's going along the Mexican border, digest it, and then re-post. There are some fantastic picures of slaughtered children for your viewing. These cartels would be out of business if they couldn't move their product.
