Cranston Woman Found Dead in Foster

Since this report aired, the Foster Police Department has released the following information: 

On Thursday, December 16th, 2009, Foster Police were notified of a missing female. Her vehicle was located on Harrington Road in Foster. Members of the Foster Police, and Foster Fire and Rescue searched the wooded area between Gold Mine Road and the entrance to Ginny B Campground on Harrington Road.

At approximately 6:25 pm, the female was located alongside Gold Mine Road. She was identified as Karen Tomolillo, age 50, of Cranston, RI. The Medical Examiner's office was notified and responded to the scene. The case remains under investigation. The cause of death is unknown at this time, pending autopsy results.
