Police Seek Acushnet Bank Robbery Suspect

The Acushnet Police Department is attempting to identify the male seen 
in the bank surveillance photos.  The suspect walked into the Acushnet 
Federal Credit Union, located at 122 Main Street, around 11:40am Saturday and 
handed the bank teller a note which read. THIS IS A ROBBERY,HAND OVER 
ALL THE CASH IN YOUR DRAWER AND EVERYBODY WILL REMAIN SAFE!! NO 
ALARMS;NO DYE PACKS. Bank teller handed over an undisclosed amount of 
cash. The suspect then walked out of the bank and was last seen 
running down Main Street and then down Nye Ave.  Suspect is described 
as a white male, possibly Hispanic approx. height of 5'8" to 5'10", 
early to mid twenties.  Seen in the photo is a dark colored hooded 
sweatshirt with a fitted knit cap under the hood. White jogging/sweat 
pants and sneakers. NO WEAPON SHOWN.
