I knew nothing about agents and managers and casting directors but thanks to ACT and their WONDERFUL staff I am now on the road with my daughter auditioning. Weather she lands a role or not she is already a success in my eyes. This school has built up her confidence so much that a no to her just means another fun audition to look forward to. These classes have taught her much more than how to act… it has taught her to overcome the fear of self.

It is a shame that there are a few having a bad experience with ACT. We are having a great experience along with hundreds of kids here at ACT. There are no guarantees in life and to expect a school to tell you your child is going to become a great actress and then believe them is a bit irresponsible. This industry is known by most to be a challenging industry to break into. What ACT provides is a great place for kids and parents to learn about the industry so we can be prepared.

on a 5 minute interview. I was suprised and upset becuz i knew they rushed me so i didn't get time to read the script over and i knew i blew it. i wanted my father to call them like they said, on monday to see if i made it in but he never did becuz he saw the prices. He knew it was a scam rite then, the highest price was 15,000 dollars for a 6 month class. i still get upset thinking about it becuz me and all those other kids were so excited bout our big chance and it was a scam.

I was interviewed by the lady you interviewed who was a real estate agent. She asked me my name, what i was interested in, an opinon from my father, and how long i wanted to be discovered, and that was it. Then she told me to go to the far end of the room where there was another lady and a video camera. They gave you a script to read, and you were projected onto this big screen as you were filmed. They gave me no time to read it over and rushed me thru it. I waited 3 hours on a 5minute (con.)

I am fourteen, last year i went To ACT hoping to finally be discovered. Hundreds of people were there. The "agents" gave us a form to fill out, a booklet, and a speech on what ACT was, who were successful in ACT (they showed us pictures of those few and told us what movies they had appeared in even though nobody had ever seen them before). After that everyone was interviewed. I waited 3 HOURS, and finally it was my turn. I was interviewed by the woman you interviewed who was (continued)

Hi I am a 14 year old child that went to the auditions. I made it but the classes would cost $8,000 plus another $900 for a photo shoot. I am in contact with a man called James Ingram who is the national agent. We have the contract, have not payed yet, and have not got a call from him after we asked him about your investigation. My friends warned me that it was a scam but I was to intent on becoming an acter. Please do your best on finding everything out and keep reporting. Thank you.

Bottom line is that it is not worth it.....the only reason my son is still going is because my dad paid for a year which really turns out to be about 10 months.I talked with other parents that there children are attending the classes with my son and they are just as upset as I am.

My son started the classes last August....my father chose level 5 which cost him 8,000,and it is so not worth it.A lady named Suzanna called after my son's audition and said the agent loved him.....he thought my son was adorable, marketable and confident and he would love to work with him.She also said that anytime a child has an audition the agent or director will pay for flight fare for 1 parent and 1 child. That is so not true.....and yes she was a fast talker just like the parent said on T.V.

Everything that Maureen said is true. I sent my daughter through not only the classes but went to Arizona as well only to be told that she was too young and that they had nothing for her until after they took our money. I sent e-mails expressing my disappointment for her and never recieved a reply.

We went through the same thing last January. We had both our daughters in the ACT program. We were told only 60 kids made it to attend the classes which cost us $2900.00 each totaling $5800.00 which we paid. But once the classes started we saw about 20kids per class which there was about 8 different classrooms. These sessions were held on Sat & Sun you picked which day. So that is at least 200 kids. Also Lilly told us that our daughters would return the money ten fold each. Yeah right.

I am so happy this company was exposed for who they really are! Crooks!!!! I sat through hours of waiting with my 10 year daughter. Only to get the call the next day to hear how beautiful my daughter is. Of course, the next step was, how soon can you pay? I knew then, it was not real. Then they say Mario Lopez started wtih them! I find that hard to believe. Thank you Ch. 6! Hopefully the Convention Center will keep them out!
