Why are the patent of infected kids telling them NOT to tell anyone they had the swine flu? I am a bus monitor so I want to know if I have been exposed to it as well as to know if my child has been exposed to it. Why hide it, then parents won't know their children have been exposed. Also I think if the schools send out notifications when a child has Strep and your child may have been in contact with that child, why not the same common sense for the swine flu? !?!?!

The schools SOULD tell parents of each case. They have automated phone service to notify us of school cancellations so why not H1N1 cases?!

Also, according to the CDC, healthcare workers who at highest risk of spreading swine flu to healthy patients while taking care of sick ones should be immunized in as high risk and RI does not seem to be doing that. Lastly, I would like to point out that the vaccine is free to everyone no matter where t

While I applaud the State of Rhode Island for giving free flu shots to all students, I am appalled by the fact that a child cannot get a shot from a private physician. This seems to be a case of the state overstepping it's boundaries. If I had a child that died from the flu, I would be the first to sue the state in a wrongful death lawsuit. As it is, I am so angry by this decision that it will be a factor in my voting selections in the next elections.
