i go to a private school but since it is far away i get a ride to my townships school and a bus picks us up from there to take us to my school. but my township school is closed and i havent had any information that my school is closed. Other townships are closed also which means other kids that get a ride through them have no ride either..

The city is trying to find ways to tighthen the budget and is over spending. The schools have been closed for 3 days now, saving heating expenses. Does it make sense to open for a day and half? The operational expenses to do this when they will be closed for vacation.. Does not make sense. Yeah u have to pay staff but not the other expenses if u just remain closed. There will be several staff out which doubles yuor expense with subs. Plus nothing meaningful will be gained. Be smart people

I am VERY upset that PPAC has decided not to cancel their 1pm performance of Wicked. We are being told to stay off the roads, yet PPAC will only cancel if the Gov. calls for a state of emergancy? There is no one answering phones at the PPAC box office...so they can't get there but we are supposed to risk life and limb or loose out on $100 worth of tickers??

It's my understanding that we should get everything done by 4:00. Which I think is a great idea. I feel bad for the coffee shop workers in the area who have to decide to keep their job or risk life and limb. The powers that be should put their workers first over the almighty dollar. If the workers wreck their car on the way to or from work I doubt they will pay the bill. How much can they make on a night like tonight anyway. Ridiculous.
