Veterans Day Ceremony in Exeter Sunday

EXETER, R.I. (AP) - Rhode Island veterans groups will mark Veterans Day this weekend with a wreath-laying ceremony at the state Veterans Cemetery.

The ceremony is scheduled for Sunday at 10:30 a.m. It's being held by the state chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Sons of the American Revolution, the Children of the American Revolution and the Order of Founders and Patriots of America.

They will gather at Patriots Grove at the cemetery in Exeter to mark the Wednesday holiday.

Each group plans to lay a wreath in the grove. The ceremony will be followed by a moment of silence at 11 a.m.
