NEW NUMBERS: RI Unemployment Drops to 12.9%

The RI Department of Labor and Training has announced that the unemployment rate in the state dropped to 12.9% for the month of October, down from last month's 13% unemployment figure.

The drop in month to month unemployment rates is the first in over two years (September 2007).
