CANTERBURY, Conn. (AP) - Connecticut state police have arrested a 26-year-old woman in connection with an accident that killed a Rhode Island couple on Memorial Day 2008 in Canterbury.
Troopers say Lisa Ramos of Canterbury turned herself in at the
Danielson barracks Sunday afternoon and was charged with two counts of misconduct with a motor vehicle. She posted $25,000 bail and is due in Danielson Superior Court on Dec. 3.
State police say Ramos was driving on Route 169 when her car
crossed the center line and struck a motorcycle head-on.
Fifty-two-year-old Brad Randall and his 44-year-old wife,
Rosemarie, of North Kingstown, R.I., died from their injuries.
Ramos could not be reached for comment. Her home phone number is unlisted, and it's not clear if she has a lawyer.
