2 Hour Standoff in Swansea

At 10:50 pm Tuesday, Swansea Police responded to the area of Barneyville Rd and Old Providence Road for a welfare check of a person possibly locked in a vehicle.

The officers located the vehicle at 434 Old Providence Rd. The first officer to approach the vehicle was allegedly confronted by a man, Mario Andreozzi, with a shotgun. The suspect was tasered and taken into custody.

The suspect's son, Anthony Andreozzi, allegedly picked up the shotgun and barricaded himself in the house.

After a 2 hour standoff, the suspect was take into custody without incident.

These crack pot people should finally be placed in jail! Its not like this is the first violent incident at this house. The husband, son and wife are all deserving of jail
