Accused Cranston Shooter Had an Arsenal of Guns at Home

     The crime tape is down, but the army of investigators from the Cranston Police Department remains at Daisy Court, still searching for clues in what has been a largely inexplicable crime.
     Nicholas Gianquitti is being held without bail as detectives try to piece together what weapon was used to kill firefighter James Pagano.
     We learned today that Gianquitti was allowed to carry a gun because of his status as a retired police officer, even though he had only been on the force 6 months before retiring on a disability.
     That allowed him to bypass a requirement to prove he had a reason to carry a gun, like most other applicants are required to do.

I think you should check the law unless he was a felon he had every right to have the guns.As far as a permit to carry I think somebody drop the ball on that.But that would not have changed last sunday,with him being in his own yard.It's just a shame and it hurt's everybody.
