Search for Diver Suspended Off of Jamestown

Bryan Monaghan

A full-scale rescue effort in Jamestown Monday afternoon became a recovery effort by nightfall. Crews from local police and fire departments, the Coast Guard and the Department of Environmental Management were searching all afternoon and into the evening for a 24 year old Newport man, who was in the area with some friends, dove into the choppy waters, and couldn't get back out.

ABC 6 News Reporter Kimberly Bookman has the latest from Jamestown.
