Residents Respond to Middletown Plane Crash

Tim Martin

The deadly plane crash that killed two people on board, and seriously injured another draws a major concern to those who live right near the airport.

The crash happened just outside Newport State Airport in a residential area called Sunrise Terrace, Middletown. The plane crashed about 700 feet from the end of the runway, nearly 20 feet from homes.

Residents of Sunrise Terrace spoke to ABC 6 about some of the concerns they have.
