I am all for "legal" immigration where we know who these people are, where they come from, what diseases they bring. We know nothing about these illegal alliens. We must do more, start with getting rid of the "anchor baby" fiasco that a lot of illegals take advantage of once they are in our country and start to really fine employers who knowingly hire these illegals that take away jobs and resources from people who are here legitimately.

Why is there so much hate for people who are just struggling to feed their kids and make a living. They even aren't making minimum wage (so American citizens aren't going to work those kind of jobs anyway) and many DO pay taxes. It's called a taxpayer ID number (ITINs) and our very own country created that system so we could keep exploiting low-wage workers who don't have Social security #s. Everyone in the US who isn't a native american is a product of immigration so have some compassion.

The emoployer of these workers, a cntractor, has been in a fight with members of a local community group, Fuerza Laboral, for refusing to pay wages. And what a coincidence, the workers are attacked by ICE. Is it not obvious that ICE is doing the bosses dirty work, intimidating workers? I'm an American citizen and I recognize that ICE is just being used to drag down conditions for everyone. We shouldn't be attacking immigrants without papers, we should be supporting them.

1 of five inmates are illegals. The tune of 90 thousand a year plus each to keep in jail. Ship them out and cancel welfare to anyone able to work and you will fill the jobs. How much easyer is that. There is no such thing as "illegal immigration" only people waiting to get the proper visas. To use that term is almost as if they were using the N-word. It's almost invariably used to describe Latin American migrants. I've never seen an example in the media of that term being used to describe the hundreds of thousands of European undocumented from Ireland and Eastern Europe. Sorry for the multiple posts but 500 character limit is fairly small. I have one more point and I will wait for reply's. You are required to have a valid SSN# to work in this Country. I would like to know who's identity was stolen or were forged documents presented to obtain employment. Using either method is a felony so not only are they in this Country illegally they are criminals as well and should be prosecuted and then deported. I hope the American who's ID was taken over can recover.

30-40 million foreign nationals, many of which scream bloody murder every time the LAWS ARE ENFORCED. Does anyone see a problem with this? This amounts to mobe rule over rule-of-law. I know they want to disregard law as they do in their beloved, totally corrupt Mexico but that will lead to creating what they left. It's time to send the message loud and clear that coming here, disrespecting America and it's citizens is not acceptable. We've been nice for 50 years, time for a change.
