ABC6 News was the first on scene this morning as a missing-persons case in Warren took a shocking turn.
Saturday at approximately 10am, investigators from the Warren Police Department and Rhode Island State Police recovered two bodies which had been buried in the back yard.
Family members say the residents -- James and Marian Soares -- have been missing for three weeks and had left their vehicles and cell phones at the house.
Just a few hours after the discovery, the Attorney General's office issued a statement identifying the bodies as those of the missing couple.
