New Downtown Providence Grocery Store Will Have College Students Smiling

How far do you have to go to buy groceries?  If you are in Downtown Providence, like us at ABC 6, that trip is about to get a lot shorter.

And students at RISD and Johnson and Wales will be major beneficiaries.  A new 'Gourmet Heaven' is set to open in about 6 months.  It will be a fully stocked grocery store on the corner of Weybosset and Union Street.

Students are already excited about the possibility of feeding themselves with anything other than fast food every night.

ABC 6 reporter John Guice has the story...
