Sarah Palin's Speech Hits Home with Rhode Island Hockey Moms

John Eagan

So if you got the chance to watch Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin's speech Wednesday night, you may have noticed that she appealed to at least one very unique crowd.  One that's still talking about her speech today...the hockey moms.

ABC 6 reporter Erica Ricci has the story...

Chill out! That is just part of her personal story! It is showing that she is relatable unlike Obama/Biden who hangout at cocktail parties with George Clooney and Oprah! If you listened to the speech you would hear that she is passionate about facing DC corruption, energy independence, financial freedom and independence from federal government... If all you can insult her on is being a mother of 5 children and proud of it then it is clear who the right pick is!

ARGGGHHH! Hockey moms, soccer moms, basketball moms....big deal. The last person I want in the White House is someone who is trying to equate herself with screaming, over-bearing moms on the field/court/ice. I don't want to hear about all of the "supermom" things she thinks she has accomplished - just the real issues facing Americans and I think she is completely out of touch with real American issues.

What Do You Think of the State's New Ability to Track Illegal Immigrants?

  • I Like it, illegal immigrants are finding work easily while I rot in line at the unemployment office
  • Bad Idea, These people are taking sub-minimum wage jobs anyway and actual citizens are getting snared in this E-Verify system
