WARWICK, R.I. (AP) - Police investigating a Rhode Island Air National Guard recruiter accused of selling drugs say they found a safe at his office containing 1,000 prescription tablets, cocaine and a scale.
State Police Cpl. Timothy Sanzi testified Tuesday at a bail hearing for Richard Flamand, who has been held at the state prison since his arrest last month. He is accused of selling drugs from his office in Cranston and his home.
Sanzi said police also found a lock box with more than $6,000.
Flamand's lawyer, Ricard Ciccone, says his client did not consent to a search of the filing cabinets where the safe was found. He also questioned whether police had enough evidence for a search warrant.
The Providence Journal reports that the District Court bail hearing will resume Thursday.

This guy is a piece of scumb. Who cares what a nice guy, or good buddy he is, his moral character is flawed beyond comprehension. Good luck to his poor family.

And this guy had a "free pass" to get into any High School he wanted. That's just what we need.
