Drive-By Shooting Investigated in Providence

Chris Boardman

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Providence police are investigating a
drive-by shooting.

Police Chief Dean Esserman says the shooting does not appear to
be random and that the victim, a man believed to be in his early
20s, suffered life-threatening injuries. He was undergoing surgery
at Rhode Island Hospital.

The shooting occurred Monday morning on Camp Street when two
people in a Volvo pulled up alongside the victim, who was walking,
and opened fire. Esserman says the man collapsed on the porch of
his grandmother's home.

These morons need to have a huge party with baggy pants, hats that go sideways and Gumby gold chains, and then just start shooting at each other. It would be a great advancement toward raising the IQ of the R.I. population.
