This is like a dictatorship. "Do as I say or else!" Don't forget the "government" works for the people. We are their boss! How dare they. We pay taxes to have them pick up the trash, and they refuse??? There is NO excuse. They MUST pick it up or they must be removed from office. They work FOR THE PEOPLE!!!!

What about the elderly who have a hard time bringing out one bins...now they have to lug them all out? Oh..on those windy New England days those lovely bins will be every where and the city can benefit from all the lost bins. Nice approach!

I had my recycle bins out and with my trash and only 1 can was taken why should I pay $5 for a blue bin when I never received one in the first place.

my trash hasn't been picked up either and my recycling bins have been out. they even emptied the recycle bins but left the trash.i'm not sure if my neighbors had their bins out but i did have my according to the way the city wanted them.so,whats your excuse now,providence.i think this is some wacky way the city is trying to save money.pitiful
