Testimony Continues in James Woods' Wrongful Death Suit

Chris Boardman

WARWICK, R.I. (AP) - Testimony is continuing in a lawsuit over
the death of actor James Woods' brother at a hospital in Rhode
Island.

Woods alleges in his lawsuit that his younger brother Michael
received negligent care at Kent Hospital before he died of heart
disease in July 2006. Michael Woods was 49.

Dr. Kelli Naylor testified Tuesday that she gave an order to
place Michael Woods on a cardiac monitor after he came into the emergency room but her order wasn't followed. She also said she believed his symptoms could have been caused by other life-threatening conditions.

The Oscar-nominated actor is the administrator of his brother's
estate. Testimony in the wrongful death lawsuit began last week at Kent County Superior Court.
