H1N1: Vaccinations Coming for RI Kids Attending Out of State Schools

The RI Department of Health will run an H1N1 clinic for Rhode Island kids in grades K through 12 who attend out of state schools.

Parents and guardians must pre-register their children for this clinic. You can enroll online at www.health.ri.gov. This enrollment will close at 4pm on Wednesday, December 2. A consent form also needs to be filled out and brought for the vaccination to be completed.

The central location and the clinic's times of operation will be announced on the Health Department's website and from ABC6 during the first week of December.

My daughter has severe asthma she is in school at Berklee College as a freshman this year. Can she go to this clinic for k-12/out of state schools to receive the h1n1 vaccine.There school is not planning on receiving this vaccine.
