CVS/pharmacy to Provide H1N1 Vaccinations in Rhode Island by End of Week

Woonsocket, Rhode Island: CVS/pharmacy announced today that it will provide H1N1 flu vaccinations at select store locations in Rhode Island by the end of this week. The vaccine will be available to all Rhode Islanders who wish to be vaccinated while supplies last. CVS/pharmacy is partnering with the Rhode Island Department of Health to provide vaccinations against H1N1 influenza.

"Our customers depend on CVS/pharmacy for their health care needs, so we are pleased to be able to make H1N1 vaccinations available at more than two dozen convenient CVS/pharmacy locations in Rhode Island," said Troyen A. Brennan, M.D., Chief Medical Officer, CVS Caremark. "We are committed to keeping consumers healthy in the thousands of communities we serve throughout this flu season, including here in our home state."

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention is now encouraging everyone to get an H1N1 flu shot, especially those at highest risk, including: pregnant women, individuals 6 months through 24 years of age, household contacts and caregivers for children younger than 6 months of age, health care and emergency medical services personnel, and persons aged 25 through 64 who have health conditions that are associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza such as asthma and diabetes.

Where has science gone? Why do people persist in believing what they want to believe despite all evidence? I guess it starts with God..

Rich, get a life! They put chlorine into your water. Chlorine is usually used (in the form of hypochlorous acid) to kill bacteria and other microbes in drinking water supplies and public swimming pools. Chlorine kills! You know that?

Are you crazy? They put thimerosal in the vaccinations! Thats mercury your going to put into my blood! Are you aware that its been linked to the increase in autism, because places like yours are pumping people full of one thing and telling them its good for them! I will be protesting these clinics, and I will be handing out information to people so that they are aware of what it is you are actually doing to them. I know you aren't going to post this and I dont care.
